STREET PERFORMER'S VAN STOLEN FROM TOWN CENTRE

On Saturday 11th October between 11:00 - 13:00 u known offenders stole a 15-plate white Ford Transit Custom without keys from a Town Centre car park off Spinning School Lane. 

The vehicle was parked near the wall next to payment machines in the area opposite the old Magistrates Court.

The vehicle is described as having lots of dents and faint markings from old stickers reading "Hambly's" on the rear doors.

The van contained a number of outfits and electrical musical equipment - the victim is a street musician who was performing in St Editha's Square at the time.

Local officers have conducted CCTV enquiries but we are still appealing for information.
